Your friends
keep you
on track.
Tick off your day. Your friends see every day you keep, and every day you don't. Skip one, and you owe them a tiny fine: half a pizza, a coffee, €2.
iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android. Or in any browser.
Just this once.
is how every streak ends.
Every day counts.
Skip a day, owe a tiny fine.
Missed one? You get the next day to catch up. After that, the fine goes on the tab.

TinyFinesHabits your friends can see, and a tiny fine when you skip a day.
How it works
-
1
Pick a few habits
Read 10 pages, 10,000 steps, deadlifts on Mon, Wed and Fri, or less of something, like sugar. Tick them off in one tap, or count up to a goal.
-
2
Add a friend
They see your habits, your streaks and every change you make, and they can cheer you on. You see theirs too.

Skip a day, owe a fine
Missed one? You get the next day to catch up. After that, the fine goes on the tab, and your friend hears about it.
Ticked off by Apple Health.
Link a habit, and your steps, workouts and mindful minutes count without a tap. On Android, Health Connect does the same.
- Pick what counts. Steps, workouts, exercise minutes, distance, water, mindful minutes or active energy.
- Set the bar. 10,000 steps, one workout, 2 litres: the day ticks itself when you get there.
- Watch it fill up. Today shows how far along you are, all day.
- 10,000 steps Steps, done at 10,000
- Deadlifts Workouts, done at 1 workout
- Meditate 10 minutes 6 of 10 mindful minutes
Owe a pizza, a coffee or €2.
Fines are between friends, in anything you like. Money never goes through the app: you settle up yourselves, by bank transfer, Revolut or a payment QR code, and your friend confirms it arrived.
- You set the fine. Per habit, in euros, beers or ⅓ of a pizza, or none at all.
- Fair by design. Your friends see every edit, and a late tick can't undo a fine.
- Nothing awkward. The app keeps the tab, so nobody has to bring it up.
Max missed Deadlifts
½ pizza is on the tab.
Max paid you ½ pizza
Did it arrive?
All square with Max
Deadlifts again on Wednesday.
Or get paid to keep going.
A friend can sponsor your habit: a set amount for every day you keep it. Grandma pays €1 for every morning of piano practice, a friend chips in €2 for every run. It goes on their tab and gets paid just like a fine, outside the app.
- They pick the amount. A sponsor starts it, changes it and stops it whenever they like.
- Only for days you kept. A missed day earns nothing, and a rest day is just a rest day.
- Your call. Don't want a sponsor on a habit? Take them off.
On your wrist, desk and pocket.
- One tap a habit. Today is one row per habit, nothing else.
- Reminders when you want them, with Done right on the notification.
- A calendar and stats for every habit: streaks, the last 13 weeks, what's in fines.
One account everywhere: tick a habit on one device and your friends see it on theirs.
Questions
Does money go through the app?
No. A fine is just a note of who owes whom. You settle up the way you'd pay a friend back for lunch, by bank transfer, Revolut or a QR code, and they confirm it arrived.
Does a fine have to be money?
No. Owe a coffee, a beer, a lunch or ⅓ of a pizza, whatever the two of you agree on.
Do I have to use fines?
No. Fines are set per habit, and they're off until you turn them on. Plenty of people just want a friend who can see their days.
How is sponsoring different from a fine?
It's the other way round. With a fine you pay your friend for a day you skipped; with a sponsor, your friend pays you for every day you kept. Both are settled the same way, outside the app.
What if I'm sick or travelling?
Mark it as a rest day. Your streak holds, nobody owes anything, and your friends see it was a rest day.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. Open the app and add your habits. Sign in with Apple, Google or email when you add your first friend, and your habits come along.
Can I use it on my computer?
Yes. Open app.tinyfines.com in any browser and sign in. Same account, habits and friends as in the iPhone and Android apps.
Can I keep a habit to myself?
Yes. Make it private and it's yours alone, or share it with just the friends you pick.
Can my friends change my habits?
No. Friends see everything, but only you can change your habits, and every change you make shows up for them too.
